I speak with my patients regularly about the links between Periodontal Disease and their overall health. Specifically those with active and under treated Periodontal infection are at higher risk of developing Diabetes and Heart Disease. Patients with deeper pockets require more frequent Periodontal Maintenance appointments to manage their disease and reduce its long term oral and whole body effects. Feel free to ask Andra or Dr. Singer about how you can best treat your Periodontal Condition.
